By participating in the UAE Wedding Awards (the “Awards”), whether as a nominee, voter, or visitor, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Nature of the Awards
1.1 The UAE Wedding Awards are recognition awards based on public voting.
1.2 Awards results reflect public opinion and engagement only, not professional judgment, expert review, or commercial endorsement.
1.3 The Awards do not constitute a certification, ranking, or guarantee of service quality.
2. Eligibility & Nominations
2.1 Businesses may self-nominate in eligible categories during the nomination period.
2.2 Nomination does not guarantee finalist status or an award.
2.3 The Awards organizers reserve the right to:
- Approve or reject nominations
- Remove nominations that are incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate
- Reassign categories if necessary
2.4 All information submitted must be accurate and truthful. Any false representation may result in disqualification without notice.
3. Voting Process
3.1 Voting is open to the public during the published voting period.
3.2 Voters may:
- Vote once per category
- Vote in multiple categories
3.3 Voters may not vote for more than one nominee within the same category.
3.4 Voting requires a valid email address.
3.5 The same email address may not be used to vote multiple times in the same category.
4. Anti-Fraud Measures
4.1 The Awards organizers implement technical and manual controls to detect:
- Duplicate or automated voting
- Suspicious voting patterns
- Abnormal IP, device, or location activity
4.2 The organizers reserve the absolute right to:
- Disqualify votes deemed fraudulent
- Disqualify nominees found to be manipulating voting
- Suspend or reset voting in affected categories
4.3 All decisions regarding vote validity are final and binding.
5. Results & Announcements
5.1 Voting results, rankings, and vote counts are confidential.
5.2 No interim results, rankings, or vote totals will be disclosed.
5.3 Winners will be announced exclusively during the Awards Ceremony.
5.4 The organizers are not obligated to provide vote breakdowns to nominees.
6. No Guarantees or Claims
6.1 Participation does not guarantee:
- Winning an award
- Publicity
- Business outcomes
6.2 Nominees may not claim or imply: - Official endorsement
- Certification
- Ranking superiority beyond the title awarded
7. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials
7.1 By submitting a nomination, nominees grant the organizers the right to:
- Display business name, logo, images, and descriptions
- Use submitted content for marketing, website, and event materials
7.2 Nominees confirm they own or have permission to use all submitted materials.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 The organizers shall not be liable for:
- Business losses
- Reputational claims
- Voting outcomes
- Technical errors or disruptions
8.2 Participation is at the nominee’s and voter’s own risk.
9. Amendments & Discretion
9.1 The organizers reserve the right to:
- Modify categories
- Amend timelines
- Update these Terms & Conditions
9.2 The organizers’ decisions regarding all aspects of the Awards are final.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
